The Scholarship Raffle Box
This raffle box is set up to promote academic success among all members by giving them incentives for getting high marks. Each time a member gets either an 'A' or 'B' on an exam, test, quiz, or essay, the member can put their name on a piece of paper. The Vice President of the chapter verifies that the member did receive the 'A' or 'B' on their assignment, and that piece of paper is placed into the Raffle Box.
Twice a semester the chapter draws two names from the Raffle Box. Each members' name that is drawn from the Raffle Box receives a prize to reward them for their academic successes. Those members chosen from each Raffle also receive a certificate to remind them about their success. Along with a prize for the individuals who win the Raffle, a letter is sent to the parents of each member who is submitted into the Raffle Box to show the success of the member.
