Scholarship
Our chapter emphasizes that each member in the chapter excels in the area of academics.
We expect that each member, whether they are an initiated brother or an incoming pledge, hold themselves to the standards set by the University of Montana and those set by the Kappa Sigma National Fraternity.
We believe that students attending the University of Montana seek to improve themselves and enrich their futures by undertaking their studies of choice. Our chapter prides the accomplishments our members have achieved and continue to achieve in the area of academics.
We recruit academically-minded students, and our efforts have shown profound results.
The University of Montana and the Greek Community have taken notice to the dedication our chapter has had towards improving our members. The devotion our members have for academic success has made us leaders in the UM Greek Community, as seen by our chapter receiving the 2006 and 2007 Scholarship Award. Our chapter consistently has an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Our chapter has set up a comprehensive Scholarship Program to provide chapter members tools and opportunities needed to assist them in their academic success. The tools and opportunities the Scholarship Program offers include: incentive programs, tutoring help and study tables.
