Days of Thunder
Each year, our chapter organizes an event called "Days of Thunder." This event is put on for the seniors of the chapter to celebrate the end of their college career.
"Days of Thunder" is a week long event that brings all UM sororities together to compete for the honor of winning the Days of Thunder Championship. Sororities compete in specific events, such as talent, interview, and serenade. Each competition has a set amount of points sororities can win.
The sorority with the most points at the end of competitions wins bragging rights for the year, along with the 'Diaz Cup,' the coveted trophy of "Days of Thunder."
Along with earning bragging rights and the 'Diaz Cup,' one of the ladies from the winning sorority will be named the Kappa Sigma Delta Omicron Sweetheart. The Sweetheart is voted on by chapter members at the end of the "Days of Thunder" competition, and she will appear on the chapter's composite for that year.
